What was your first job out of college and how did you land that position? I was working with a start up non-profit Both EndS Burning striving to fix the broken system of International Adoption.
The summer after my freshman year of college I moved home and ran a kids summer camp. That’s where I met a family that had adopted three children from Haiti and were currently running an orphanage there. Their story fascinated me; I spent the next two years studying International Adoption and by my senior year was on staff full time launching the Both Ends Burning Campaign.
I had the privilege of traveling with them internationally and filming the STUCK Documentary.
Fun Fact: I am a college football addict.

If you could have lunch with any woman, who would it be and why? It would be a toss up between any former Miss America and Laura Ingalls Wilder. Obviously, there is a stark difference between the two, but growing up the Miss America organization and the values I learned from excessively reading Little House on the Prairie books helped shape me into the woman I am today.
